So I’ve done a little bit of research from my old and new stats, and I’m here to share them with you all. So now that I could more than double the amount of frames I was seeing with my old setup, it had to have helped me aim better and react faster, right? Most “non-gaming” monitors only output about 60hz to 75hz, that means the frames you can actually see in a game only go up to the amount of hertz your monitor has, for example 60hz is 60 frames, 75hz is 75, you get the point. I noticed immediately how extremely smooth of an experience it was, and I was genuinely doing a lot better at the game, running it at about 150 frames average during a game, it was buttery smooth with the 144hz monitor added. So cut to the third quarter of 2020, and I’m back with a genuinely nice setup, a GTX 1660 Ti, Intel 10th Gen Core I5, 8gbs of RAM, and a 144hz monitor. This setup basically put out about 50-60 frames on Siege at the lowest settings, genuine garbage settings but I loved the game so much I still dumped about ~360 hours into the game with it. So I’ve been lucky enough to get a new setup to play Siege on, and a part of why I quit playing the game was because of this setup.
